Thank you for the reference numbers Eric, and yes, Cassy, I had a note he was a twin but had got no further than noting it in the GRO index. Sydney married one of my great aunts and I was just trying to "tidy" up what information I had about him. I just couldn't think what search criteria to use for the surname on Ancestry. I've done a fair bit of creative thinking on the census today and I think I'd just run out of ideas for this one ...!
