I have discovered an entry in the Rowley Regis burial transcripts which reads 18 Feb 1817 Richard Siviter Tanners Hill, 73, Hanged himself, and wish to determine more detail. Presumably there would have been an inquest - would I be correct in assuming that RR falls/fell within the jurisdiction of the Walsall Coroner? Does anyone know whether Coroners Reports survive for this period and if so where they can be accessed please? Also what is the best newspaper to search for a report of any inquest which was held and where that search is best done. Am also keen to find out exactly which Richard Sivitor took his own life.
