    3. Peter: Coroner's reports generally don't survive, and your best bet is a newspaper report. The Staffordshire Advertiser has a name index covering this period. It's not available on line, but can be inspected at Staffs Record Office and possibly elsewhere. Perhaps trying the Rootsweb Staffordshire list would find SKS able to look it up for you. Another possibility is Berrows Worcestershire Journal. Rowley Regis was in Staffs, of course, but it was in the diocese of Worcester (not Lichfield, like the rest of Staffs). Again this can be accessed at the record office in Worcester, and a posting on the Rootsweb Worcestershire list might find SKS able to help. Good luck - and let us know how you get on! 3. Paul Thank you very much for your information on newspapers. Am considering how best to pursue that angle and will certainly relay any results to the list in due course.
