Hi All Hope you all had a good Christmas. I would appreciate your help with a small puzzle I’m trying to resolve - not from inside a cracker but from the back of a 1931-32 silver medal... The medal was awarded to James Walker of the Barrel Inn in Canal St Tipton. The face of the medal has two rifles and a target so it’s obviously from a shooting competition, probably between different local pubs. On the reverse of the medal is the acronym – T.C.D.A.G.L. Does anyone know what this means? Our best guess so far is “Tipton and Coseley District Amateur Gun League” but that is just a guess so any informed alternatives would be welcome. many thanks Trevor Flavell
