    1. Re: [Black Country] Roll Call: THOMAS, LANGFORD, JEFFERIES
    2. Jim
    3. Usually I don't do Roll Calls but now I'm getting down to some that are pretty well camouflaged! #1 My ggg grandparents SERGEANT/SARGENT THOMAS and his wife MARIA DUFFIELD from TIPTON. I haven't been able to find anything on either of them on the IGI or on any of the films I have at the local FHC. Their children were; ABRAHAM b 27 Oct 1822, d 12 Feb 1824 TIPTON. ISAAC b7 Nov1824, d 7 Dec 1825 TIPTON. SARAH b 7 June 1827 TIPTON, m JOSEPH WILKINSON 26 May 1845 TIPTON, d 14 Feb 1892 SOMERDALE, OHIO. JOHN b abt 1833 TIPTON. On the 7th of March 1847 Sarah was having her first born EDWARD WILKINSON christened at Oldbury and her parents were having three more children christened also! They were; ANN MARIA, EDWARD, and EMMA. I don't think the last three were triplets! #2 JOSEPH WILKINSON m ELIZABETH LANGFORD 14 Sep 1814 ST. THOMAS, OLDBURY. ELIZABETH d 3 Mar 1848 Collier's Row, Oldbury. I have nothing else on Elizabeth. I could not find nothing on the IGI or in any of the films I have at the FHC. Their children were; BENJAMIN b abt 1815, m ANN JEFFERIES b abt 1819 on 21 May 1838. EDWARD b30 Aug 1818, d 21 Sep 1819 HALESOWEN. RICHARD b 3 Sep 1820, m CAROLINE JEFFERIES abt 1827, on the 31st of Oct 1848 W.BROMWICH. JOSEPH b 29 Jan 1826, m SARAH THOMAS 26 May 1845 TIPTON. Besides Elizabeth, I would like to know more about the two Jefferies ladies.I think they might be sisters but??????? Have not found anything on the IGI or in any of the films I have at the local FHC.Not sure if these were not second marriages for the Wilkinson brothers. Many thanks for anyone who can shed ANY light on the two "problems" above. Jim
