Hi Pat Not sure but we used to use "egg colour" in the bakery trade, it was an orangey powder and watered down gave a rich yellow colour like egg yolks. I believe that also has faded from use. Hello Geoff In 1863 the junction where Sutton Road meets Birmingham Road and the other roads that joined this junction were known as Five Ways. In later years Springhill Road was cut making it Sixways Junction. My husband says I should just tell you that Five Ways is now Six Ways. Just a junction of roads.
