A Francis Blake was a witness to the marriage of Jarvis White ( baker) and Elizabeth Aris (widow) at Banbury on Jan 1st 1760. Can anybody identify this Francis Blake or how he might be related to either party. I am hoping that he is my direct ancestor Francis Blake (1731-?) of Winslow and Kings Sutton. My Francis Blake's wife was called Mary, maiden name unknown. She may have had connections with Middleton Cheney as she was re-baptised there at the Baptist Church in 1789 by complete immersion.
