I also have the following: George Nicholls born 16 April 1837 baptised 23 January 1838 Swalcliffe son of Edward labourer. Are you sure of the death for Sarah Nicholls 1828. I did not have the marriage for Ellen Nicholls to Edward Toys but this clarifies some research that I had done. In search of Charlotte Nicholls (b: 1831) I came across on the 1881 English Census the following: Farnbourough, Warwickshire (RG11/1526 Folio 86 pg 14) William Toy Head Married 53 years Claydon, OXF Ag Labourer Charlotte Toy Wife Married49 years Swalcliffe, OXF Mary Jane Toy Daug single 24 years Claydon OXF William Toy, son 22 years Single Claydon, OXF Ag labourer Edward Toy, 19 years single Farnbourough, WAR Ag labourer Hannah Toy, daug 12 years Farnbourough WAR Scholar This was the only possible Charlotte but the marriage between Ellen and Edward I would say confirms the relationship.
