Does anybody have access to the Newbottle PRs? I am interested in all references to the surname BLAKE as I am trying to find a link between the Kings Sutton Blakes and the Newbottle Blakes. In 1801 Francis Blake of Red Lion Street Kings Sutton (1731-?), who I have quite a lot of information about, paid land tax of 11s 3d on his land in Newbottle so there is a strong possibility of a connection somewhere. Francis Blake had married at Newbottle Church in 1759 although all his 10 children were baptised at Kings Sutton Parish Church where he is listed as a churchwarden in 1765 and 1775.
