Hi Mark If it turns out you are looking for the Howse family that located outside of Winnipeg , perhaps I can help you locate information. I live 50 miles west of Winnipeg and our Library has a number of Family History books from various communities in Manitoba. I believe the early Homestead records are located at the University of Manitoba in Winnipeg. Let me know if I can assist you.
