My great grandfather Frederick James WALKER was born January 21, 1859 in Banbury, Oxfordshire, England. Father was James Deeming WALKER, listed as a tinplate worker when Frederick married Margaret Jane JOHNSON in Chester. Frederick's mother may have been Elizabeth WHITE. His father James may have been blind in later years. We have a lot of eye problems in the family and I was told years ago by an aunt that it's known as the famous, "Walker Squint."
