    1. I've been converted !!!
    2. A statement like that could apply to many things - but I never expected to use it within the context of Ancestry.com - but I find that I must. I had spent many frustrating hours trying to find my maternal grandfather and his family on the govt's 1901 census site (I knew who he was and I knew who his parents were - but I didn't know whether I'd found all of his siblings) but without any success at all - despite using wild cards and every possible spelling variation/transcription error that I could think of. Result: nada ! So this morning I thought I would take the opportunity to try Ancestry using the new Gale log-on that so many on the Lists have been talking about. Result: instant success !!! And yes there were a couple of sibs that I didn't know about. So what can I say except Hooray for Ancestry. John Plester. Researching: PLESTER, JOINES, and TAPLIN, in OXF and BUSH, and CLARKE in WAR
