    1. WALKER / WHITE
    2. Thanks, Angela. The bible entries say Frederick's parents were William Walker & Elizabeth White. The marriage certificate my cousin got shows Frederick's father as James Deeming Walker. I'm confused. A possibility: William Walker married Mary Ann Randle in 1842. Mary Ann died in December 1858. William remarried in June 1859 to Elizabeth White. The only problem is Frederick was born in January 1859??? OR did Mary Ann have Frederick in Dec 1858 and died in childbirth. Birth not recorded until Jan 1859. Then Wm married Elizabeth & she raised her stepson as her own??? Is that possible? But then why is Frederick's father listed as James on marriage cert? OR this William is no relation and I need to go back and restart. At least you've given me some directions for further research. Linda

    3. Hi Linda, This is the only message that has come through from Banbury list for awhile. I see that I've missed some. I have checked 1861 Census & found family. Found both marr. in Banbury & bapt of children listed in census. Do you have this? I have to run to work, but can send it tomorrow. I'm sending this onlist & to you off list.
