    3. Hi Rosemary, In Australia yes we commemorate the fall (landing) of Gallipoli. And that is the day that we have our major Returned Soldier parades and the old diggers play their famous two up games - legally. But Australia also commemorate's Remberance day on November 11th. I can always remember sitting for my final year History Exam at High School in 1983. Which was on the 11th of November - we where still in the exam at 11.am at time all pens went down and every one stood on mass as the school band played The last Post".
