Henry married 1. Ellen STUCHBURY circa 1855; 2. Mary Pedley SEAMAN c. 1863. Henry was born in Burton Dassett, where his father Joseph farmed at Frog Hall. Henry's younger brother died young, making Henry the logical heir to any family property in Burton Dassett. I've often wondered why Henry established himself in Cubbington before 1855. Do you know of BISHOPs in Cubbington at that time frame? Henry BISHOP's grandparents were yeoman William BISHOP and his wife Mary; there is no marriage record for this couple in Burton Dassett parish registers, so they must have "come from away". Their children were baptized in Burton Dassett between 1743 and 1762. I'm wondering whether William the yeoman fits the description of anyone you have noted among the BISHOP family in Cubbington in the 1700s. Thanks for any help or direction. Best wishes, Frances
