Thanks to Rob Forsyth, webmaster of Deddington on line, my project on the Deddington War Memorial is now public. This work was aided enormously by people in Deddington, Banburyshire (especially this list) and frankly people from all parts of the world and it is now on a website with pictures. Please have a look: http://www.deddington.org.uk/history/worldwars/warmemorial If you can correct it, add to it or give me another project, please tell me Thanks for looking and if you think that it should be converted into a book, please tell me Michael Allbrook
Very quiet, are we all sheltering from the rain ? Can anyone do a lookup for Sarah BONNER and/or family, apparently born Merton c.1823. She married Samuel MALINGS in Launton in 1850, but I can't find her on the 1841 census unless she is working for Samuel Hill, Innkeeper of Buckingham. The info I have been given from her marriage cert says Father = deceased. One clue. In the 1861 census she is living in Launton with husband Samuel and Susannah Bonner aged 79, unmarried, born Little Chesterton. Susannah's relationship is not clear. Perhaps she is an aunt. Thanks for any help Jon Malings, County Wexford. _________________________________________________________________ Have more than one Hotmail account?
