I use ROOTSMAGIC to store my Family Tree - obviously places where I have found events are recorded in the Sources along with the actual reference and details of the wording for each event. I also use the first place I come across somebody for the actual source for that person, subsequent sources are then added to specific events. This way I can always tell where the person originally came from. It also has the ability to add TO-DO lists on either individuals or Families which can then be printed out. The difficult bit I suppose is recording where and when you have looked at a source and not found the record you where expecting. SInce this is a negative but as time goes on may need to be revisited in light of any new information. Kevin
