    3. In the good old days we would have had a card index which would have had details of everyone. There we would have recorded where we had looked and where we wanted to look. I have looked for such a computer program but I have not managed to find anything at a reasonable price Michael Allbrook -----Original Message----- From: eng-banbury-area-bounces@rootsweb.com [mailto:eng-banbury-area-bounces@rootsweb.com] On Behalf Of Rosemary Probert Sent: 21 October 2009 09:48 To: eng-banbury-area@rootsweb.com Subject: [BAN] "To Do" lists As someone has pointed out, the list is quiet at the moment, so I thought I would throw this problem into the ring. I have had sooooooooo many different types of "to-do"lists over the years. Every one of them seemed like the solution to my perennial problem of keeping track of what I wanted to do, or to find, or to check the original, in different libraries, sources, books, films etc etc etc But none of them has stood the test of time. The problem as I see it is: 1. I have loads of possible sources to look up 2. They are in a wide variety of places and 3. Answers sometimes turn up in places I unexpected So - how do you keep track of what you want to do? How do you make sure you keep those lists up-to-date? Kind regards, Rosemary Northumberland UK PS. Dawn - I have received your messages re your website - has my 2nd response got through to you?
