Hi there, I have a question. Looked at two deaths for children in Middleton Cheney ...one in 1841 and the other in 1842, both children died young, same parents. Both appear to have died from tuberculosis, one death listed as scrofula... child died at 15 months, and the other consumption, ...child died at 19 weeks. Pity the poor parents loosing two little girls one after the other. Was there an epidemic of sorts at that time, and were a lot of children dying from tuberculosis...I mean more than the usual deaths? Does anyone else have children in the family history with the same diagnosis on the death certificate for the same time period. Just thought I would ask. Brenda avast!
