I thoroughly enjoyed your recollections of the Whitsuntide religious celebrations and procession with bands, even. I think you were right to be concerned about the topic though. Despite what you were told, I was ejected from a family message board by our co admin for expressing religious thoughts on my family's message board. May God bring peace to your days! :) Joe Ariss:) ************************************** Get a sneak peek of the all-new AOL at http://discover.aol.com/memed/aolcom30tour
Hi Joe, NO - you were not 'ejected' by me from ARIS/S list - I assume that is what you are wrongly referring to in your below attached mail (part of). You were put on moderated watch for persisting in adding religious content (bible chapters of your religion/your views) within all your postings, after being asked to refrain from doing so more than once! Personal - political, moral & religious opinions are not allowed, certainly not encouraged to be posted on any Rootsweb list. Membership of lists/message boards come from many diverse backgrounds, cultures & religions. You need to keep in mind Joe, not all members of a site you post to will share your particular faith or outlook of how one should live their life. As you are unaware of whom your message will reach via a list/board, I'm asking you again Joe ---- *Please refrain from including your personal doctrine in list posts*.
