    1. [BAN] New Book about Aynho (or Aynhoe!)
    2. I want to let you all know about a new book by the lists?Dawn Griffis. It is all about Aynhoe. It has some history about the village, but concentrates on the Social History from just before WW2 through to the late 50's. This is the first in a trilogy, and it makes for fascinating reading. I know, because I helped Dawn with the editing! I have also read?her second book, about Nursing, which is also an excellent read. The third is about her life in USA, and although I have only read?2-3 chapters, I cannot wait to read the rest! It is available through www.Lulu.com, and is called: Aynhoe - Village Life. The Way it Was. ISBN is 978-1-84799-738-8 If I have got anything wrong above, I am sure Dawn will put me right! 3. Hi All, Thanks Ian, and for all your help with the editing and the computer, you know what I mean! The book actually covers from 1880 to 1956, with lots of pictures, many very old. The full title is 'Aynhoe Village Life. The Way it Was- Then - Before and Beyond. Everything else is correct. I hope all who buy it - will enjoy, and for those of us that are genealogy nuts, get something useful out of it.
