Well, that was most interesting to read, thank you very much. So typus and consumption seem to be the afflictions for children, along with scarlet fever, and fever. I think if we would have seen a lot of children die of consumption or tuberculosis or scofula during the period in question, I would think there might be an epidemic, but it seems not...just a coincidence on the records I looked at.
