    3. Why they came back?.......... When I was very young my parents emigrated from Tasmania to Alberta, Canada. We were there for about 5-6 years. Then emigrated to USA. My memories of Canada mostly involve very Cold winters!!! I never wore a coat the first winter I spent in the states. It just wasn't cold to me! I don't know how cold the winters are in England, But in Canada, we listened to the radio (no TV in those days) every morning to hear if school had been cancelled due to the cold. There were times when school was closed early, and the kids were sent home because of a blizzard. At age 5, I had to walk home in a snowstorm that I couldn't see my hand, at arms length, in front of my face. Don't know how I made it home.
