Hi All It's been a long time since I made a posting (research must be going well), but I am still here looming in the background. Now I would love some help. On the 1881 census, I have a Nancy Eatwell age 4 born in Banbury a scholar, living at 23 Redcross Street, Swindon, Wiltshire. Up to now I cannot find any birth registration in Banbury for her. I wondered if she was registered at all? Then thought she may have been baptised. Does anyone have access to parish records. I know Banbury covers a large area, and is a longshot, but a baptism record would at least show she was real. Also can anyone say whether a 4 year old would be 'a scholar' Cheers everyone. Frances
