    3. I have looked through the OFHS Parish Register Transcripts of Chipping Norton for you and although Elizabeth JEE(GEE) was baptised in Chipping Norton - 26th March 1809, father Richard, mother Sarah), there is no mention of any CRIPPS baptisms. However, looking on the IGI, it gives an extracted baptism for a Joseph CRIPPS on 31 October 1806 at the Particular Baptist church of Chipping Norton, father John, mother Patience. There is also the baptism of an Elizabeth CRIPPS on 26 November 1808 at the Baptist church, father John, mother Patience. Unfortunately, my CD does not include Baptist church records, so I cannot verify these IGI records. Oxfordshire Family History Society (www.ofhs.org.uk/) have produced a Parish Register Transcript of Chipping Norton Baptist Church on Fiche, ref NP2 Oxon North & West, at a cost of £3.50 so you could order that and check back for your family. Let me know if you would like any further details on your JEE/GEE family.
