Hi, I'm looking for information regarding John Reynolds born c1799. On the 1851 census he is recorded as being born in Banbury, however I have been unable to find any further info except that he married Elizabeth Lawrence in Finsbury, London and had 9 children all born in Bethnal Green. I would be interested to find out about his parents and siblings if anyone can help as I'm drawing a blank. Many thanks, Emma Clark.
Hi Emma, I haven't found a baptism for John REYNOLDS in OFHS Banbury PR's, but wanted to ask where they were living in 1851, so I may check for further clues. (If I have access to this part of the 1851 Census) Thanks, Bill Watson ----- Original Message ----- From: "Emma Clark" <emma.reynolds@dogfishrock.com> To: <eng-banbury-area@rootsweb.com> Sent: Sunday, July 12, 2009 4:09 AM Subject: [BAN] John Reynolds c1799 > Hi, I'm looking for information regarding John Reynolds born c1799. Emma I don't see John Reynolds born Banbury anywhere on the 1851 census. >From what you have said, I guess he is on the 1841 census aged 40 (which is rounded) in Bethnal Green with wife Elizabeth (aged 35, rounded again) and 8 children, oldest being John aged 20, another Shoemaker. John the elder was not born in the county where he is currently living, i.e. Middlesex. Everyone else was...that's all you got told on the 1841 census. regards Jon Malings > From: emma.reynolds@dogfishrock.com > To: eng-banbury-area@rootsweb.com > Date: Sun, 12 Jul 2009 11:09:03 +0100 > Subject: [BAN] John Reynolds c1799 > > Hi, I'm looking for information regarding John Reynolds born c1799.
