    3. Elizabeth hope your arm gets better soon. Other than buying the certificate or finding them on the census, the only other way I know of establishing parents for births and infant deaths is through the parish registers if they exist and if the entry has been made. I see that Richard RANDLE married Charlotte BREWER in Banbury 3Q 1855 but that they were in Birmingham in the 1861 census with no children of their only, only Ephraim RANDELL from a previous marriage. Have you checked the Banbury registers to see if they had any children that were born/died there between 1855-61 ? I don't know anything about Birmingham registers despite teh fact that I was born there. I know there is a family history group. Your Louisa RANDALL could be 1864 Birmingham 3Q 6d 43. regards Jon Malings County Wexford, Ireland From: donlizw@netspace.net.au > To: eng-banbury-area@rootsweb.com > Date: Sat, 4 Jul 2009 10:43:59 +1000 > Subject: [BAN] RANDLE/RANDELL/RANDALL > > apol for all lower case - my left arm is imobile following surgery. > > i am trying to find the birth of charles, benjamin, george and louisa born to richard and charlotte who married 1n 1855. > > louisa' death cert states she was born in birmingham circa 1864/5 - my estimation is may- june 1865 - i can't see a match. she died in australia age 79 years in 1944 - was married in aust aged 18 in 1882. > > i am looking for george in aust. the next brother thomas was born in Tasmania in 1867, > > 1861 uk census has family unit has parents plus a son ephraim from richards earliar marriage. > > i have been looking for children born between apr 1861 and 1867 although they could have been born and died between 1855 - 1861 as the chidren in australia were born 1867, possibly george here, 1872,1874 1878. > > is there anyway one can determine parents before sending for certificates? > > > thanks elizabeth > ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ > List archives are at http://archiver.rootsweb.ancestry.com/th/index/eng-banbury-area > ------------------------------- > To unsubscribe from the list, please send an email to ENG-BANBURY-AREA-request@rootsweb.com with the word 'unsubscribe' without the quotes in the subject and the body of the message

The Banbury Reg. Dist. has several parishes in WAR & NTH. You may want to send for their marriage cert. 3. Hi Elizabeth This may help or not!? Following on from Jon's info below, if that is your couple in the 1861 census .. Charlotte BREWER bapt @ St Mary Banbury 12/2/1837 do Thomas & Alice, North Bar, whitesmith. Ephraim RANDLE bapt @ St Mary Banbury 24/10/1852 so Richard & Anne, Blue Pig Yard, labr. There is this marriage at Banbury 21/4/1851 Richard RANDLE, 21, Horsefair so Charles & Anne GIBBS, 19, Horsefair do James. This burial 27/11/1853 RANDLE Ann 22y, Horsefair Can't see any records for a Richard RANDLE etc baptising offspring in Banbury after Ephraim in 1852. Ephraim is quite an unusual name so don't know if you may find a connection here - but there are several generations of Ephraim RANDLE's at Bloxham? 3. thanks for everyone's help. I will follow up some of the leads. My information re seeking information on the "missing" children Benjamin, Charles, George & Louisa relates to info on one of Richards children born in Victoria Australia in 1874. Victorian (my states in Aus) birth certificates lists siblings - very helpful. I have sent to the UK for a certificate for George and Louisa both born in Birmingham UK Might add to the puzzle. ----- Original Message ----- From: "ANGELA ALLEN" <angela.allen72@btinternet.com> To: <eng-banbury-area@rootsweb.com> Sent: Sunday, July 05, 2009 5:07 AM Subject: [BAN] RANDLE/RANDELL
