Byfield History Society is holding another of its Photos Open Days on Saturday 27th October from 10am until 8pm in the Village Hall. Admission is £2 and refreshments will be available. The Society has got over 3000 photos from 1850 up to the present day as well as many other interesting documents and films. I will be taking my transcriptions of the Baptism, Marriage and Burial registers (1813 - 1911) for consultation. Anybody with ancestors from Byfield should find plenty to interest them here.
