Thanks Rosemary, I had noticed those references on the IGI, but I think they have been put in by an 'interested member' of the Church. They are indeed the family I am researching - especially Nancy, where the only info about her I can find are on the IGI and in the 1881 census, no birth/baptism/marriage/death/burial. But, I will keep searching. Cheers everyone, and thanks for the advice on 'a four year old scholar' Frances ----- Original Message ----- From: "Rosemary Probert" <[email protected]> To: <[email protected]> Sent: Tuesday, June 26, 2007 3:27 PM Subject: Re: [BAN] Nancy Eatwell > Hi, > > There are 2 references in the IGI that might help: > > Annie Eatwell > Birth: > 1880 Banbury, Oxford, England > Parents: > Father: Aaron Eatwell Family > Mother: Eleanor OR Ellen Gregory > [patron submission] > > and - almost the same entry for 1877 but for Nancy Eatwell > > Rosemary Probert > Northumberland UK > Email: [email protected] > Family History: http://freepages.genealogy.rootsweb.com/~rprobert/ > Banburyshire Website: http://www.rootsweb.com/~engcbanb/ > ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ > > Frances Gregory wrote: >> Hi All >> It's been a long time since I made a posting (research must be going >> well), but I am still here looming in the background. >> Now I would love some help. >> On the 1881 census, I have a Nancy Eatwell age 4 born in Banbury a >> scholar, living at 23 Redcross Street, Swindon, Wiltshire. >> Up to now I cannot find any birth registration in Banbury for her. >> I wondered if she was registered at all?
