Hi John, My husband has an ancestor who married a Taplin. Elizabeth Mawle (Maule) married John Taplin in Banbury 1870, she was born in Bloxham in 1847 daughter of James and Ann Maule, my husband is descended through her brother Thomas Maule.Do not know anymore of the Taplin side.
