Please can anyone help with information on Robert Gardiner. He would have been born probably c1720-30 and he married Mary Tanner in Caversfield February 1755. Their children were William born 1756, John born 1757, Robert born 1759 and Richard born 1761.I have checked the Caversfield parish registers and he was not baptised in Caversfield so I am looking for any Robert Gardiner's in the Oxford area. Hi Philippa, I've checked Bicester transcript (OFHS) and the only Robert GARDNER was baptised in 1797. I also had a look at the Bicester Independent & Methodist Chapels, Charlton-on-Otmoor & Bucknell - no Robert.
