Hi Bob Where did you get the info from for William Flint born 1804 Banbury area? Many places came under Banbury registration district, not just Banbury town - some parishes were not even in Oxon! Then later on, from 1/10/1932 the registration district for this area changed again The N'hants parishes that were included under Banbury from 1837 moved to Brackley reg district - ie Appletree, Aston le Walls, Upper Boddington The Warws parishes transferred to Southam reg district - ie Farnborough, Avon Dassett, Warmington Even some Oxon parishes changed - ie Deddington, Duns Tew, the Astons moved to Woodstock, Oxon district Google for - Banbury Registration District - this should bring up a Genuki page with all the dates & transfers (& they explain it far better than I do;>) Anyway .............................. There is a very large FLINT clan in Adderbury - continuous baptisms from 1611 - 1924 Could this be your William?
