    3. We are transcribing a 1555 will disposing of a large number of property rights among seven daughters. Among the list of place names: Adderburye, Balscote and Codycote in the County of Oxford. We have found Adderburye and Balscote but the only Codycote we have found is in Hertfordshire -- and the writing is clear, it's not Bodycote. Does anybody know of the place Codycote or Codycote Manor in the Banburyshire area from that period? Also, does anybody know of a place in Warwickshire that could have been called Wollamyngton in that same period. (listed with Burmington and Honington). It definitely starts with a "W". I checked the Banburyshire site map and had no success. Cheers from snowy Ottawa Basil

    3. Recently someone put a web address for the Northamptonshire Family History Society in a message. I looked at it and found some interesting information but forgot to Bookmark it (silly me). Please could that address be repeated by whoever gave it. Barbara Adair.

    3. Dear Basil: There is a Bodlicote area of Banbury at the present time - I know nothing about it except that there is an old manor house, now used as council offices; maybe you need to research its history? You could also try writing into Banbury Library where they have a History research section. Best regards, April - 20miles from Banbury.
