Hi Dorothy I was just thinking about him the other day. According to my father in law he used to ride a bicycle without any tyres!! I have recently come across an ancestor in Sibford Gower named Theodore BLOXHAM which is what got me thinking about Mr Lamb!! I have just spent the good part of two hours going through old pictures to no avail. My mother had a picture of Theodore Lamb, and I used to have it ! Apparently he had a love affair that went sour and he retreated from life. He was a very intelligent man though. He was not a relative of ours but fasinating to the local children. Hi Karen, My sister told me this morning that she thought he came from Sibford... but I only remember seeing him near Tadmarton. I wouldn't have strayed as far as Sibford while out playing. Hi Dorothy I was also told that he came from Sibford. Just had a look at the PRs but he isn't mentioned. I seem to remember hearing somewhere that the LAMBs (or some of them) were Quakers. There is a Quaker Meeting House in Sibford - I remember looking around it's graveyard as I was on the trail of my ancestor James Stevenson/Henry HUNT born 1848. Got quite excited when I found the grave for a Henry Stevenson LAMB given the middle name they shared but he was born circa 1889 so I don't think there is any connection. His parents were Joshua and Lucy Sophia LAMB. Sorry, I am going off topic ....... I am interested in Sibford and its history so if anyone has any other stories to tell, I would really like to hear them.
