Herewith my two cents worth. I am researching WRIGHTONS, brick wall after my GG-Grandfather David, no confirmed parents. The BORTONS also of Aynhoe, Nthnts. back to GG-Granfather William and the PROFFETTS (various spellings) of Sibford Ferris in Oxon. Cannot find confirmation of the parents of Mary wife of David Wrighton. Their marriage cert. has her father as Henry and her baptism in Swalcliffe names her mother as Sarah but no connection to any family I can find.
