Hello Harvey, There is no Banbury Family History Society, BUT, in saying that there is a Banbury Historical Society, which publishes about 3/4 journals a year. Most of these can be searched and/or read on line for free. If you go to the following: http://www.cherwell.gov.uk/, you will see near the top right hand a search box. DO NOT use this, but click on the 'advanced' button to the right. This new search page allows you to enter a search term, type in what you may require and the tick the box next to the: Banbury Historical Society - Cake and Cockhorse. This will return any of their journals which contain your search request. These are in PDF format. Download as required and read as required. As to Banbury Family History, this mailing list acts as a request list for inquiries. Post a request, and if lucky, someone will attempt to answer your question. Note: Banbury is on the boarder of 3 counties, Northamptonshire, Oxfordshire, and Warwickshire. Basically, if you ancestors lived within 10-12 miles of Banbury someone will probable be able to help.
