Janet, I would be interested in you comments on the following scenario I have for my GREGORY's in Banbury. William GREGORY married Elizabeth PEARSON in November 1794 in Banbury. They had two children Elizabeth GREGORY around 1794 and James GREGORY around 1798. They were both born in Banbury. Elizabeth GREGORY (nee PEARSON) died in August 1799. William GREGORY married Elizabeth HAWKES (a widow) in April 1801. They had two children Thomas GREGORY in March 1802 and Sarah GREGORY in 1804. William GREGORY died in March 1804. I think it is a little difficult to unravel as William married two Elizabeth's if my theory is correct. Perhaps it is Elizabeth GREGORY (nee HAWKES, nee ???) who married Richard BRAIN in January 1813.
