    3. No, but there is a line of Ellises that track back to the eastern shore and Kent County MD in the 1700's in case that is useful. But I only have my own line of descent. 3. Hi everyone, This is a quick reminder for you to check the new Ellis Activity feed at ftdna before you place a new order. Just log into your ftdna page and click on the Ellis project link in red at the left. This will take you to the new project pages. You can chat here, check out the ftdna result charts (good if you have tested greater than 67 markers), post pictures ... and pick up a coupon code for $10.00 off each purchase. I plan to keep the webpage up and running because of the pedigree info. You can get to it from the ftdna page by clicking "links" at the left. I may decide to do away with this mailing list if the page is found to be useful for members to communicate. It can be made open to the public which I think I would do if the mailing list goes away, since we have several members who have not tested at ftdna (unfortunately their results aren't shown in the ftdna results). 3. Have you tested with FTDNA? If you have you shouldn't have any trouble. Go to EllismtDNA/FF. There are now two Ellis projects. One is for Y-DNA only. The other is for mtDNA and Family Finder testers. :-) B.
