To anybody - I am looking for Thomas Ellis b. abt 1784 in South Carolina. He married Judah Wright from North Carolina. Two of their children were Judah A. Ellis, b. 1813 in Spencer Co., Indiana and Jane Ellis, b. 1822 in Indiana. They had other children but I don't know their names. I have reason to believe this family was either Chippewa, Choctaw or Cherokee. I have pictures of Judah and Jane (both are my grandmothers) and they are definitely Indian of some kind.
