Hi Lois: Our son-in-law forwared your message o9n to us. My wife, Margaret, is an ELLIS. But can not find out where her father was born. She thinks somewhere in Minnesota or Wisconsin. Her father passed away in 1974 ( he was 93) and her mother in 1939. Did any of your relation come from up north?? Other than being ELLIS'S she may not be a kin; but one never knows.
