    3. Sylvia, does it have an index? If so, does it also include a WILLIAM ELLIS born about 1755, married Elizabeth STANTON/STAUNTON? Their daughter DELPHIA ELLIS married LEMUEL DeBERRY. This is ALL the information I have on my William ELLIS; he is mentioned very briefly [pp141-142] in Dixie McCrary's book on the Ellis Line from Surry-Sussex Va. He is believed to be the William Ellis shown on p. 334, "Roster of N.C. Soldiers in the American Revolution" from Newbern Dist., NC. DAR papers indicate he died in NC after 1812; however, I have no documentation evidencing whether any of the above is factual. The DeBerry bible does mention that William and Elizabeth Stanton DeBerry are parents of Delphia Ellis who married Lemuel DeBerry....but nothing more. Any tips, clues, assistance from anyone will be gratefully accepted. Don't have much to share, but will share what I have.
