    3. Sylvia, Et. Al. I think there is a good chance that Dicey might be related to the Ellis group Dixie McCrary's book The Ellis Line From Surry-Essex VA. There is a Jeremiah Ellis there whose daughter married a Murfrey. I do not have any further information on Murfrey or Murphree from the book. I do not have information from the book on branches not of my line. Butthe similarity of names could lead to a connection if you can get ahold of the book. Not only are the names similar but the Ransom Ellis marrying Sarah Daniels about 1823 is from this same line. Could this be your Ransom in your second email?
