    3. Dear Joan and the Ellis List: As Joan did, how about if we make it a regular practice to cc our replies to the list when we reply to the individual who made the request or reply? Yes, the sender and receiver will receive duplicates but the rest of us will be able to share the pearls of wisdom (and hard earned information) without too much trouble.
