I have some good news to pass on. The DAR Library Catalogue has just been put on the Internet. This is a significant event for genealogists because the DAR Library contains many documents, books, etc. that either don't exist elsewhere, or are very difficult to locate. You can access it through the DAR Home Page, at: www.dar.org the click on Genealogical Library, or directly at: http://dar.library.net/index.htm It is important to read the directions for using the catalog because the DAR Library uses its own cataloging system. Descriptions and directions appear at the bottom of the library home page. The availability of the catalog on-line will greatly facilitate advance preparation for researchers planning a trip to the library.
