Hello out there! I am looking for any info on a Lucy Ellis who married a Horace Webb in NY about 1830ish. Lucy is daid to have been born (according to the 1850 Ohio census AND her gravestone record) in 1810, in Vermont. She and Horace and their children moved between 1840 and 1850 to Huron County Ohio. Where they appear in the 1850 census. Lucy died not long after that in Feb 1852. Horace then married 2nd Sarah Call. anyway, any idea who Lucy Ellis' parents are? I have a theory it might be an Asa Ellis who appears in the 1830 census for Georgetown, NY as does Horace Webb. and they are actually living a few houses apart! I followed this Asa back into Vermont in the 1810 census. But I can't find a list of his children, There are more than one Asa Ellis' in Vermont at that time, and all in southern VT. he is between 50 & 60 years old in the 1830 census as is his wife. any help on this problem?
