I seem to have remember reading somewhere they took the census in June of the year, but don't remember, I thought they were supposed to have taken them at the time of year when the farmers were not as busy in the fields. And I know times are changing, but I do know that now in our area they are hiring people for the year 2000 census, to begin taking it in Nov. and Dec. of this year...
