Dear Ellis' Researchers, My Ellis ancestor was William K. Ellis who married Mary "Polly" Nichols 3 Jun 1838 in Ohio Co, KY. They had five children all born in KY: Elizabeth b. 1839; Amanda J. b. 1840 who married James L. Bartlett in 1857 in Logan Co, IL; Willaim J. b. 1842 who married Elizabeth Fossett in 1865 in Logan Co. IL; Mary A b. 1846; and Margaret A. b. 1854 who married Mahlon H. Mason in 1878 in Logan Co, IL. On the 1900 census both William K. and Polly indicate their parents were also born in Kentucky. Anyone out there that has a match to this family? Don Gregory
