    3. I got two replies (so far) about credit for the sites I posted. Great! I tried to find out who to acknowledge and got only a surname list site posting. Here is credit where credit is due! (Don't flame if sites no longer function or have changed. Just send a nice thanks!) FIRST: from Duncan on the Morrow List Cindy: Since I recognize this as my links (with a few additions), please get the name of my former employer -- USGS -- right. It's the United States Geological Survey, NOT Service (I did not work for the Mapping Division, but still . . .). 8^) There is an irony, too. I sent this out to a couple folks who lost their bookmark lists with an explicit request they not post it -- a year or so ago I acquiesced in allowing my list of the time to be published and got flamed by people because some of the links were -- eventually -- out of date. I guess removing my name has the same effect. I really don't mind sharing, but I don't care to be abused for doing so. Now really, the one that gets doubting editorial comment is Kidon Media-Link under newspapers? That's personal. If you open the site you'll find my name in a blue bar across the page; click on it and its my home email address. A strictly noncommercial site, too, thank you, brought to you by a couple guys who think the world needs a better newspaper index site than we've seen elsewhere. And who put the weeklies page back in? The weeklies page wasn't drawing enough traffic to justify the work, so it's fading away. The third Kidon entry is Canadian papers and it still belongs. Duncan SECOND: (From Roy on the Ran-Clay List) The List you Posted is the results of some very dedicated work of JEFF STITH he has a web page that he maintains, and will Add any new legitimate web site to it if you will sent him the URL. His Web Page is called SIMPLY GENEALOGY and if it does not have every URL on Genealogy; It is because he hasn't found it or no one has sent it to him. That is what it says, I don't know him, but I have used his Information and I thank him Very Much The URL is http://www.qni.com/~jstith/gen/genlink.html Check it out and send him any URL You have that is not there, The way to contact him shown on the page. Roy so . . . now that we have some authors to thank . . . Thank you very much for your work and efforts! We all owe you a debt! Gratefully, CindyHMB ;-)
