Ellis List Serve, I recently discovered some information that may tie into my family. My 3rd great grandmother was Amanda Ellis. Her father is listed as Peter Ellis and mother as McHenry on a death record. Further research shows that Peter Ellis was born circa 1823 in Wayne Co, KY.
