Thanks Susan. That is what I suspected but didn't have proof of! I knew that William Eldridge had a daughter Sarah about the right age, but I couldn't make the connection. Her sister Thankful married into my Nickerson line. Interesting.... I am fascinated by the inter-relationship of the Nickerson, Eldridge, and Ellis lines.
